We are seeking a trade qualified and motivated Leading Hand with site experience looking to develop their career to join our Wellington team.
You will be a well-rounded, competent carpenter with the ability to spot problems and resolve them in an as efficient manner as possible. Your role will include supervision and coordination of site personnel and sub-contractors when required by the site leads i.e., Foreperson, Site Manager etc. As a person you will work well within a team and have a supportive leadership style.
You will ensure that health and safety procedures are never compromised, and the company's procedures are adhered to. You will have a willingness to tackle new challenges and expand your skills along the way.
To be successful in this position you will possess the following:
Carpentry experience Qualified builder or carpenter looking for development with Naylor Love Ability to read plans Previous experience in managing labour and junior trades Strong commitment to Health & Safety Have an understanding on how to navigate IT systems and processes Be a champion in health and safety Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines Why Work for Us
