Leading Hand Carpenter Full time permanent Leading Hand Carpenter is required for our busy company. The minimum work hour will be 30 hours per week and maximum will be 445 hours per week. The minimum wage is $37.50 ph and maximum wages will be $37.50ph. Candidate should p ass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizen or resident will be preferable. Job description: · Replacement of Purlins, Barge boards / Fascia, Re-pitching and framing and other timberworks required. · Assisting roofing teams were required: Roofing Gutter/ Cladding / Remedials/ other · Checking off delivery dockets when on site, collecting building materials · Following building plans and paper work supplied with packs · Communication with the office and or supervisor on job progress and requirements Material orders · Ensuring the smooth running of the job and all safety regulations on site · Onsite building works required on roofing sites, and asset roofer were required Safety induction on site · Completion check list completed for all jobs · Site Measures if required · Site cleaning of rubbish and roofing materials · Remain in regular contact with your manger about any potential problems or order required · Provision of regular reports and job progress to your manger · Striving to meet personals and company target set by the directors · Assist in implementing systems · Accurate time keeping and completion of timesheets / productivity log · Weekly meeting with management / tool box meeting · Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry regulations · Conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times as company representative Skills required: · A Clean NZ Drivers License and Police record essentials. · Ability to pass Monthly Medical / Drug testing and MOJ background checks• · We strive to, maintain a clean & consistent team environment and as such conduct regular drug & alcohol testing · Be prepared to be part of an existing team structure, to undertake building work predominately roofing works. · Maintain a high quality finish with genuine pride in your workmanship and finishing product · Be able to move from site to site, and work with our many roofing teams This job descriptions serves to illustrate the scope and responsibilities of the post and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties.
