You will be responsible for leading a team of Business Partners and Business Specialists to provide high-quality advice and support across the business, including organisational development; diversity, equity, and inclusion; change; employment relations and recruitment.You will have an inclusive and collaborative leadership style, and you are action oriented - so you won't hold back when it comes to rolling up your sleeves to deliver results as a team.You will take a leadership role as part of the People function leadership team, and through building solid relationships with all our Toitu Te Whenua leaders, including our executive (Kaihautu) and senior leadership team (Nga Amokura). You will lead a team of business partners who provide effective advice on operational and strategic issues, informed by a sound understanding of our work and the opportunities and challenges our leaders face.Our ideal candidate will have relevant HR leadership and experience, taking a human centred design approach. You will have a background in leading the development and implementation of employment relations and remuneration strategies, along with leading large-scale or complex change, and developing people strategies and policies.Skills/KnowledgeIn this role you work you will have:Proven experience as a leader or managerA solid background as a HR generalist and in organisational developmentExcellent interpersonal skills and confidence to manage relationships with a wide range of peopleDemonstrated ability to lead key strategic projects through to successExperience developing and implementing flexible and agile work practicesStrong ER skills and experienceSolid working knowledge of current employment legislation, change management and Human Resource practices, supported by a qualification in HR or a related disciplineA commitment to delivering on our Tiriti o Waitangi responsibilitiesThe expected appointment range for this role is $165,000 - $180,000 with an additional 3% Kiwisaver.
