We are locally owned and have operated for 20 years.Job description: The tasks and responsibilities for the job are to install, commission, service, maintain, adjust and repair Access Control, CCTV, Gate Automation, Burglar Systems and other Security Related Systems. The role will be involved in both installations in new premises and adapting existing premises. In addition to your own duties as a security technician, you will also be leading, managing and supporting a team of security technicians, including providing them with technical support and problem solving any issues.Tasks include:examining and testing security systems to diagnose and repair faultsadjusting, repairing, and replacing security system componentsmaintaining security and alarm systems as proactive measures to prevent system failuresassembling, testing and adjusting alarm and other security equipmentadvising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctionsmonitoring systems, messages and alerts applying knowledge of security systems and components in commissioning, maintaining and monitoring security systemsproviding technical support to other technicians as well as customers with security systemsmanaging, motivating and providing support to a team of security technicians, including assisting with recruitment, development, training and performance managementquoting jobs either alone or in conjunction with the sales consultants, particularly in relation to technical aspects liaising with existing and potential customers, communicating effectively with themliaising with the team administrator as required in relation to job management for the divisionHours of work: Full time role with 40 hours work guaranteed each week, with a maximum of 45 hours per week.Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate, including a top hourly rate, phone and company vehicle. Ongoing training and support will be provided.
