About the role
This developing company is in growth mode, and is looking for an experienced and passionate Occupational Health Nurse to lead and mentor their team of nurses both within Auckland and across various sites within NZ. A unique position that will involve some hands on clinical work, mentorship, advice, support via the phone and virtually, as well as the opportunity to have input to the overall service and change management.
Work collaboratively alongside upper management and the professional development nurse
Be a direct line of support for nurses out in the community
Trouble shoot with staff to resolve issues or answer questions
Support clinically hands on when staff are sick or away
Provide training to the wider NZ team as needed
Auckland based, with some minor travel throughout NZ to support various teams
Skills & Experience Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
Prior experience within the Occupational Health space is essential
Ideally some prior leadership experience, though also open to a senior Occupational Health Nurse looking to step up
Good time management, planning and organisational skills
Ability to work flexibly and with the changes in the business
A can do attitude and genuine passion for wellbeing and work in the occupational space
Excellent communication and rapport building skills
