The Lead, Non Financial Risk (NFR) Governance role is critical to making this happen by leading the development and direction of the Governance and Forums function within the Business Governance & Controls Center of Excellence, as well as ensures adherence and embedment to the I.AM Amplified requirements. In a typical day or week, some of your work will involve the following: Building a high performing, engaging team environment that fosters high standards, role clarity, development, and flexibility across the function. Provides coordination and management of scheduled internal audits, supporting business units throughout and providing oversight of audit issue closures. Leads coordination of specialist internal control assurance with third parties, as it relates to applicable licensing requirements. Provides guidance, influences decisions, and acts as primary contact on forum content and the I.AM Amplified framework. Drives consistency in execution and embedment of I.AM Amplified requirements, and oversee the maintenance of key risk profiles, obligation management, COR data quality and integrity. Role Type: Permanent Location: Tamaki-makau-rau, Auckland or Te Whanga-nui-a-Tara, Wellington Ou Pukenga? | What will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following: Expert understanding of operational risk & compliance with at least 8 years' experience in a Financial Services environment. Ability to think strategically and commercially, whilst driving an adaptive, agile risk culture that motivates organisational change. Sound appreciation of all aspects of compliance and operational risk, with demonstrated knowledge of risk in the 1st Strong people leadership skills, with proven experience leading a function, owning their opinions, and challenging where appropriate. Extensive experience leading through influence and working in a collaborative style. Comfort building strong, open, and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders. Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to extract key information to practical insight. You're not expected to have % of these skills.
