Lead Developer

One of our private sector clients is looking for a Senior/Lead Developer to join their team. Their digital team are at the forefront of the business, lead the digital transformation and are building the future of the digital services consumed throughout the organisation. They are focused on building a flexible and scalable solution for onboarding their new clients, which is the source of truth for all of their client data and providing the interfaces for product teams to build innovative customer experiences.
What You'll do:
Create the best experience for their clients and staff by designing, building, scaling, and evolving their platforms, services, and tooling
Use your experience to design innovative solutions in the financial services space
Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and product owners to drive the evolution of their products
Take operational responsibility for the components that you develop
Contribute to a culture founded on collaboration, transparency and openness. We promote freedom and responsibility

Who You Are
You’re excited about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about your software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs that glue them together
You are experienced in building database-backed REST or GraphQL microservices using modern Java/Scala/Clojure, JavaScript, TypeScript, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
You learn quickly and enjoy working closely together with your team to bring value to your stakeholders
You enjoy working in an environment of continual improvement, will learn from as well as uplift the team
You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with best practice in your areas of expertise
