About the role We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who will be responsible for : General parks and grounds maintenance including (but not limited to): mowing, weed eating, and basic mechanical maintenance of plants. Upholding quality standards and ensuring that the grounds are well presented at all times are key parts of the job.   Typical day to day tasks will include: Working in a team maintaining the upkeep all outdoor spaces. Lawn maintenance, use of both ride on and push mowers. Ensure all storage areas are clean, secure, and tidy and that all equipment used is kept in safe operating condition with regular maintenance. Ensure equipment and chemicals are used in accordance with H&S guidelines and processes and ensure the use of PPE as appropriate.  Provide a friendly, safe and homely environment for all residents and staff in the homes. Undertake specific or ad hoc maintenance and gardening projects as required, which may call for some flexibility around working hours or duties as requested by the employer.
