We are looking for a Large Animal Technician team member to join us on this adventure into our bigger, brighter, better future.We are looking for a highly skilled veterinary technician in Taumarunui to play an essential role within our business. You will need to have an ever growing on-farm and in-clinic skillset including, diagnostic sampling, research projects, metrichecking & metricuring milk culturing, bolus administration, calf disbudding, vaccinations, teatseal administration, conveyor work, as well as supporting our large animal vets day to day with their clients.We are excited to expand our valuable technician team and our ideal candidate would possess the following:A qualified large animal technician with minimum 2 years' experience.Good banter and a strong team player.Enthusiastic, driven & a willingness to learn.Be passionate about outstanding client and patient care.Great communication skills and attention to detail.Flexibility - whilst this is a 24 hr per week, flexibility in start and finish times will be required on occasion to meet our client's needs and be part of a Saturday roster.Available to work a Saturday morning on a rostered basis.A good understanding of the animal welfare actPassion for building relationships.Compassionate, understanding, and friendly with an outgoing personality!Thrives in a busy environment.What Sets Us Apart:A rural mixed practice with great team morale.Be a part of a high performing veterinary technician team.Supported in the continuous development of new veterinary technician skills.Work in a positive and supportive environment.Vibrant and energetic team always up for a laugh!A commitment to your professional growth and development.A supportive team environment that values work-life balance.How to Apply:There's never been a better time to take the next step in your career!
