Landscape Carpenter Wanted

The successful candidates should have: At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a variety of carpentry related tasks, preferably 3 years+ work experience  Or a relevant qualification certificate equivalent to NZ Level 4 qualification or higher  Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Experience in working for landscaping projects could be an advantage Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Reasonably fit and healthy to building work Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends A valid driver's license Description of the role: Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of materials needed Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw Assembling and fastening materials to make framework or props Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards Building, installing and repairing window frames, doors, staircases, decks, pergolas, sheds, planters, benches, gates and greenhouses Following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.   What we can offer: Competitive pay range: $29.66 to $32.00 per hour based on skills and experience Flexible working location: Auckland regional projects Guaranteed minimum working hours: 30 hours per week Training and development opportunities Stable permanent full-time position Â
