Land Access Agreement Advisor

The role
Our electricity network spans between the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers and stretches from Banks Peninsula to the foot of Arthur’s Pass. Building, maintaining and operating this network in a safe and reliable way is vital to ensure our community receives a safe and resilient supply of energy into the future.

Reporting to our Procurement & Land Services Manager, you will be required to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders to coordinate and establish land access arrangements to private properties for the purpose of building, maintaining and operating our electricity infrastructure.

The candidate

To be successful in this role you will have proven land and property systems experience and the ability to work closely with owner/occupiers, contractors, consultants and legal advisors. Some experience with working in legal and/or utilities would also be an advantage.

You will also have:
a tertiary level degree or diploma or equivalent experience
working knowledge of the Electricity Act 1992, Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010, Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and Land Access code
Able to take a strategic view to managing work flow and working in with a range of stakeholders
a strong customer focus
a current full driver’s licence
