We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individualwith Medical Laboratory and IT experience to join our exceptional LaboratoryServices team at Counties Manukau Health as Laboratory Information System – Scientific Support. Thisis a full time Monday to Friday position based at Middlemore Hospital.
In this role you will be responsible for theintegrity and maintenance of the Laboratory Information System and the RegionalResults Reporting System, and for ensuring interfacing with other internal andexternal systems. You will be the main contact for Laboratory staff using the LaboratoryInformation System and all users of the Regional Results Reporting System, liaisingwith other relevant departments at CM Health and external results providers forproblem resolution. You will also assist with projects related to IT thatsupport the functioning of CM Health Laboratory Services.
You will ideally have experience working in aMedical Laboratory, experience in related Health service will also beconsidered. You will have current Laboratory IT knowledge or have delivered ITprojects for laboratory services. To be successful in this role you will needto be a team player, ideally with some leadership experience. You will be able to work both independentlyand collaboratively and have an appetite for innovation and change.
