Laboratory Analyst

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Auckland Chromatography Department in a permanent full-time role, working Sunday to Thursday.Key accountabilities include:-Perform independent or specialist analytical work;Be proficient in using these instruments – HPLC/GC/IC/LCMS;Have at least 2 years experience working in a laboratory using the above mentioned instrument and able to trouble shoot as neededEnsure external and internal clients' requirements are met / exceeded;Ensure efficient utilisation of laboratory materials;Have a vast knowledge of ISO 17025 standard;Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures;Comply with quality management system policies and procedures.QualificationsAppropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience are preferred.Experience:Experience in appropriate technical disciplines and quality management systems is mandatory.Has previously been a KTP in a chemistry discipline, preferable.Attributes:Client service focus;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to work under pressure;Highly motivated;Proven organisational skills;Professional attitude;Flexible;Personable;Safety conscious;Ability to follow procedures;Ability to problem solve.Additional InformationAll candidate CV's and cover letter's will be reviewed, however please note that we are not always able to respond to every expression of interest submitted.
