About the role
Our dedicated Kitchen team are looking for a hard working and reliable Kitchen Manager to lead them on a full time basis, delivering excellent service to our residents. This role is more than just everyday cooking. It is about using your strong culinary experience and creativity to provide high quality food and a great dining experience, including whipping up treats for special events and formal dinners.
You will be responsible for managing dietary requirements of our residents, stock control, kitchen budgets, staff rosters and catering for large village functions.
As manager, you will utilise your team building and leadership skills to train, develop and inspire a team of kitchen staff and lead by example. Additionally, you will form quality resident relationships and surprise them with your gastronomical delights.
On offer is a full time opportunity, working 40 hours per week.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience training and managing kitchen staff
Outstanding customer service skills
Food industry qualification
Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
Experience catering for special dietary requirements
Creativity and exceptional menu planning
Computer literacy
