Kitchen Designer / Sales Person

We are a kitchen design and manufacturing company based in Auckland. We are looking for kitchen designer/ sales person to join our team. Your key role is to work with the client to design and deliver to their individual needs, whilst meeting our sales targets. Attention to detail will be very important. Key responsibilities of the role: Assist with design process onsite including measurement specifications, create and design kitchen and cabinets, required to consider the intended purposes of each cabinet job, along with client's style preferences, when drafting cabinet layouts. Also ensuring that sales goals and objectives between the company and clients are achieved. Use AutoCad design software to create 2D and 3D representations of proposed designs. Select and specify materials, finishes and fixtures to be used in designs. Prepare cost estimates for kitchen designs for customers Create blueprints for the clients. Identifying client needs and assisting clients to select the material in accordance with their vision. Closing sales Observing prescribed building and safety regulations. Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time. Any other tasks reasonably required and as directed. Experience/qualifications required: Relevant degree – graphic arts, design etc Minimum 1 years proven experience using AutoCad Proven sales skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Top-notch communication, selling and customer service skills. Great presentation skills and attention to detail Location Auckland Positions available:1 Employment is permanent and for a minimum of 30hrs a week Shifts are between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays.
