About the role Preparation of menu items and ski area cuisine adhering to company recipes, and Head Chef Instructions, to ensure consistency All mis-en-place is prepared fresh with adequate prep, in time for service Stock control and planning for variances in trading, minimisation of wastage Communicating with & serving customers Always maintaining a clean and tidy section and kitchen Completing tasks and necessary record keeping required by the Food Control Plan Assist in other areas of the department as required Washing dishes, scrubbing pots and sterilising equipment Good communication with other kitchen team members and FOH team About You Previous experience in a commercial or high volume kitchen is desirable Food Safety or Basic Cookery certificate are desirable Must understand basic Food safety practises Excellent customer service skills High level of personal presentation and hygiene As Kaitiaki of the mountains we have an enduring commitment to our environment, people, and communities to ensure they benefit from our presence and as proud supporters of Winter Pride we've pledged to continue to provide a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
