Where you'll be working: Matariki Hospital, Te Awamutu The details: Permanent Part-time Salary details: ETU Collective Agreement Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Matariki Hospital is a 32 bedded inpatient rehabilitation continueing care Hospital under the Older Persons Rehab Service (OPR). Our commercial Kitchen services this hospital as well as meals on wheels, to the wider community. The Kitchen assistant role requires full kitchen support to the cook and functions of the kitchen as per the position description. Experience preferred but not essential, full training and orientation will be given to the successful candidate. Click here to view the position description. As part of the Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Matariki cares mostly for post-acute patients who have been inpatients at Waikato or Thames hospital and need time to recover prior to discharge home.
