Our commercial Kitchen services this hospital as well as meals on wheels, to the wider community. The Kitchen assistant role requires full kitchen support to the cook and functions of the kitchen as per the position description. As part of the Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Matariki cares mostly for post-acute patients who have been inpatients at Waikato or Thames hospital and need time to recover prior to discharge home.
