A global leader in leaf protein production, our focus is on creating flavourful, nutritious proteins from leafy greens like alfalfa, oats, and kale, with notably low carbon profiles.

The business is currently seeking a Key Account Manager to drive the introduction of these products to the global market, presenting an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company in an evolving industry.

The opportunity

Leaft has made progress in customer engagement and product development and now are seeking a Key Account Manager with experience within the FMCG space and in particular previous experience working as a Food Technologist with a good understanding of how to develop new food products. 

This role will be suited to someone looking at building relationships with technical and commercial teams in pet food, FMCG, and animal nutrition industries.

The role

You'll have a knack for identifying opportunities for new products utilising Leaft's ingredients based on emerging nutrition and science trends. Plus an understanding of technical aspects of nutritional product development and timelines.

Bachelor of Food Science, Food technology or an equivalent degreeProven sales record in the FMCG and/or pet food industrySelf-starter with a high level of autonomyStrong project account management skills and experienceCommercial experience in multiple geographies, building relationships, contract negotiations Excellent communication and presentation skillsWillingness to work on global leads where customers have different time zonesOrganised, analytical, and results-orientated individual who enjoys a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment How to apply
