Kotahi Construction is currently on the look out for an experienced Construction Project Manager. We are willing to pay an attractive salary commensurate to experience and time in the industry. The position will come with a work vehicle, laptop, phone and uniform. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. Depending on the specifics of the particular project, the Project Manager may be required to lead a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Or in other cases may be required to work within the parameters and scheduling set by the "Client Side" Project Manager of a large external firm/government organisation. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role will involve coordinating all aspects of the project, from planning and scheduling to resource management and quality control, while also serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. There will be a heavy requirement for reporting, especially when undertaking local and central government works. Ensuring all contractual reporting requirements are met, will be the responsibility of the Project Manager. Kotahi Construction is a company which is forward thinking and innovative with technology. As such, the Project Manager is required to be technologically savvy, and will have the ability to easily adapt to new technologies and systems. It is expected that the Project Manager will be familiar with digital filing, the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, and Microsoft Sharepoint/OneDrive. Following the Kotahi Construction filing conventions is also critical. It is also expected that the Project Manager will have a good knowledge of the administration of the NZS suite of contracts, and how to raise purchase orders, works orders, variation orders, and disputes.
