Te aheinga | The opportunity At Whakaata Maori, we embrace our role as a waka, driven by our passion to preserve and promote Maori stories, language, and culture. The purpose of this exciting, fixed term role is to plan and provide production management support across Mataora Production programme content. This includes production budgets and schedules, coordinating resources and people resources, and monitoring logistics, timeframes and budgets as allocated by the Head of Content Creation.
To provide administrative and financial production support for content productions for linear and digital first broadcast.To manage oversight of all financial budgets for the department and coordinate resources and people resources for the department when required.To monitor production logistics, timeframes and budgets when required.Provide relevant reporting in the required format and timeframeFixed term for one yearA tertiary qualification in Broadcasting or Media or equivalent experience5+ years' experience in a Senior Production role or equivalentExperience in broadcasting, television or film production or a related field.Experience managing and creating production budgets.Exposure to Te Ao Maori and acknowledgement and that the learning of te reo Maori is a requirement of this roleOrganisation that invests in your developmentFree parkingOur kaihoe consistently tell us they work here because they believe in our kaupapa, come join our team.
