The team is responsible for driving our overall strategic direction and advising and delivering on our policy work programme. Our teams work collaboratively, so in addition to policy projects, you will get the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in strategy, regulatory stewardship, and research. As a Senior Policy Advisor you will contribute to complex projects, promoting alignment between strategic, operational, and regulatory policy advice. You will utilise the range of tools in your kete to provide analytical rigour and evidence-based advice on a broad range of subjects from overseas investment to the management of the Crown estate.
This role will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills on a diverse set of policy projects such as implementing legislative change, undertaking fees reviews, and providing policy support for large projects to drive for the best outcomes for Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is an opportunity to pick up pieces of work such as developing strategic advice, supporting legislative reform, preparing business cases and budget bids, and developing operational policy.

The annual salary range for this role is:$105,000-$123,000 dependant on experience.
