We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners. Our vision is to enable our akonga to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities. Our akonga are at the centre of all we do. Our learning programmes are flexible, enabling us to respond to diverse akonga needs Ki te ti, ki te ta, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone. Teaching at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu Kaiako at Te Kura engage with our akonga online and face-to-face at huinga ako (advisories) and events, and also work onsite with colleagues in our regional offices. Te Kura aims to provide flexible working arrangements, so Kaiako are able to request to work from home for up to two days per week. Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this position: We are looking for a creative, innovative Secondary Kaiako (teacher) who's an expert in Legal Studies, to join our office in Wellington.It's an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning.
