K2 head teacher – Northland Kindergarten AssociationFull time, Permanent Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) seeks a head teacher to lead a committed team of teachers at Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga Kindergarten. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspirational leader who is dedicated to partnering with whanau Maori and the community. Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga Kindergarten has a teaching team of 4 teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 30 children between 2 and 6 years of age. This team is dedicated to Maori education success; the programme is child centred, play-based and responsive and sustaining of cultural identity.
