The position is fixed-term to cover a flexible working arrangement. Timing can be flexible to suit the applicant as follows: Part-time mornings 8am-12.30pm 5 days per week working in 2 separate junior classrooms or Part-time classroom teacher in a junior classroom 4 full days per week or Full time junior class teacher. We are a flourishing school of 350 tamariki in beautiful Ruakaka. We have approximately 100 tamariki in our Maori immersion unit and 250 in English medium. Our staff are friendly and supportive and jobs at our kura are highly sought after. Ruakaka School is situated in Bream Bay within the rohe of Patuharakeke. We work hard to enact Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we are a PB4L school-wide kura beginning work on schoolwide Restorative Practice. Inclusivity is one of our SHINE values which are at the heart of everything we do.We are a Green/Gold Enviroschool and we play an active role in the Bream Bay Kahui Ako.
