Junior Machine Shop Technician

Junior Machine Shop Technician opportunity on offer at a growing business expected to double in size over the next 12 months who can provide you with hands on mentoring on all CNC machinery and Welding as you develop your technical skills.

Established over 20 years ago this company specialise in the manufacture and assembly of highly specialist components for lucrative industries. They are growing the machine shop through investment in cutting edge machinery and are looking to recruit a Machine Shop Technician to set and operate across the production line.

In this role you will receive full training and support to set and operate CNC Milling and Turning Machines; manufacturing precise, bespoke parts and prototypes to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards. You will also inspect manufactured parts preparing them for dispatch.

The ideal candidate will be a Junior Machine Shop Technician with CNC Setting and Operating Experience. You will aspire to develop technically developing a long-term career within a growing company.

The Person:

*Basic understanding of setting and operating CNC machines
*Ability to read technical drawings
