Junior Developer

Beyond Recruitment are currently looking to fill a6 month fixed termJunior (potentially Graduate) Developer role for this relatively small but extremely crucial Crown entity in Wellington.
We are looking for delivery focused, self-motivated, and flexible Junior Developer to work closely with an experienced team and Senior Developer to support internally developed systems.
Ideally, the preferred candidate will have 1-2+ years’ experience in databases and applications development.
Technically, we are looking for;
PHP
Java desirable
Front end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript
SQL – MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
SOAP, REST webservices
As a junior role, your specific experience can be flexible however PHP experience a necessity.
In addition to your driven attitude above, the preferred candidate will also have an innovative approach, be enthusiastic, collaborative, and communicative, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
