Craft Development Limited is a construction company based in Auckland. We are now looking for 1-8 Junior Carpenter and Joiner to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access to a reputable and experienced company. Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours per week, roster from Monday to Saturday), permanent role Our pay: $26.69 - $31.61 per hour, including overtime, pending on skills and experience. $55,515 - $65749 is the estimated annual salary range for 40 hours work per week. Tasks include: Read and understand specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans Prepare project work procedure and determine dimensions and materials required Selecting and matching materials for colour grain, or texture Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand or power tools Assemble and nail prepared parts to form framework or fixtures for internal structures and fittings Erecting wood panels and frames during installation and joinery fitting Installing cabinets, shop fittings, laminate bench tops, timber doors, window frames, and stairs in residential and commercial sites Built-in joinery fixing Hardware installation May assist to set up and operate machines and equipment in factory workshop Remove and repair existing fittings, conduct renovation and maintenance service for the wood structures To be successful, you will need to: Having relevant education or experience will not be required but will be an advantage You must still pass our assessment to ensure you are qualified for the role Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions Be physically fit and willing to work hard Have good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively - a "can-do" attitute Our goal is to inspire people more than managing them.
