Junior Accountant

Junior accounting role for a student in last year of accounting studies.
This job is suited to a student that wishes to continue a career in the public practice accounting industry. The junior accountant will be a person that has gone to university directly from college, with good grades. Ideally with an understanding of manners, entertaining, and a personal inclination towards participation and relationship building.
The junior accountant will be required to prepare financial statements, income tax returns, GST returns, and various office and admin tasks.
Due to a recent acquisition we have a number of smaller jobs ideal for a graduate.
The principle has hosted UNITEC internship students several times in the past, and was a mentor for a young CA in the 2018/19 CAANZ mentoring program. The experience on offer will not be matched elsewhere, Dellows list of services, and the regularity of value added work, is significant compared to other firms. Xero and various other Apps are utilised, all compliance work to be carried out on Xero (blue and green).
Looking for a student that can work for 20+ hours per week, some work may be completed from home after initial training. Hours can be when ever you like as long as the work is completed on time.
