Blackbird Architectural Joinery is a leading joinery company with a strong customer base and an exciting range of upcoming work, operating from an established factory in Seven Hills, NSW.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A Leader role and key contact point in managing Blackbird Architectural Joinery. You will be working closely with a team of 7. You will be in charge of all Joinery projects from Design, estimating, production, delivery until installation, rectification & sign off. You will be engaging externally with Clients, Installers and other parties to manage a proactively smooth and seamless process.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have;
at least 3 years' experience in production management, ideally in joinery/kitchen/ cabinetry/fitout industry
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
High quality of workmanship and attention to detail - Quality assurance of all completed jobs
Creating and establishment business procedures from a managerial and also factory floor perspective
Previous Experience in CNC Machine & Software
Ability to read and understand plans & shop drawings
Excellent ability to prioritise tasks and work in a multitask environment
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Ability to work with a team at all levels of the organisation
High competency levels in the manufacture of high quality Joinery
Construction knowledge with an extensive Cabinetmaking/shopfitting background
Understanding of specifications for projects.
Practical knowledge of WHS
Problem solving mindset, highly organized, proactive and extreme attention to details.
Familiar with joinery shop drawings, clarifying project requirements and quotes, project management and stakeholder engagement.
