ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a large multi-national retail organisation with over 5,000 stores worldwide.

They are currently on the lookout for a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Assistant Manager within Supply Chain team in their Head Office, based in Melbourne CBD. As they grow, so does your opportunity for rapid advancement within their leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for the Supply Chain and Logistics Management for the company comprising of Warehouse & 3PL partnership management.
This ranges from warehousing and inventory management, transport and product delivery, to logistics arrangements with other suppliers.
This role will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong knowledge & understanding of 3PL & warehousing, import shipments & shipping documentation & purchasing and strong attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task.
This role will be based on the Head Office located in Melbourne, however interstate and intrastate travel may be required from time to time. This role will involve working within their stores and the warehouse.
To be successful in this role, applicant must have a high level of Japanese language skills (both written and verbal).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Warehouse & 3PL partnership management
Supervising & Coaching Team Members
Reporting Duties
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Other Adhoc tasks, as and when requested by Line Manager

KEY ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE & ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Good command in English & Japanese
Strong knowledge of 3PL, Warehousing, Shipping Documentation and Purchasing
Freight Forwarder communication
High level of computer literacy and advanced Excel skills essential
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
FMCG experience (preferred)
Keen interest in retail
Ability to work autonomously at times
Ability to be flexible and multi-task
Keen to have fun at work

OFFICE LOCATION
This role is based in Melbourne CBD.
