This role is open to internal employees only. Te aheinga: The opportunity In this part time role you'll be responsible for championing and delivering the implementation plan. You'll be responsible for:Engagement with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and secure the resources to produce the agreed deliverables.Co-ordination of resources including internal subject matter experts, schools and senior leadership team, business partners, analysts & technical resources.Sourcing of market insights and preparation of business cases.Tracking and management of overall project progress, provide regular updates to ensure all actions are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented.Active management of risks, issues and scope changes by implementing risk, issue and change management processes to minimise and control scope creep, keep the project on track, and ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose.Key activities and deliverables transitioned to a sustainable model that ensures the Strategy is embedded in wider Unitec planning.Please refer to the Position Description for further information about the position. You'll have:
An understanding or desire to learn te reo Maori, tikanga Maori, and the values and practices of kaupapa MaoriEvidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environmentsProject Management Experience, preferably gained in an education and training contexts (vocational education and training and or ITO, and government regulatory bodies)Superior understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk.Effective interpersonal skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communicationsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDriven to achieve including the ability to manage the competing demands of multiple, simultaneous projectsProblem solving abilityCompetency in Microsoft applicationsAbility to work on tight deadlinesTono mai: How to Apply To be considered for this position, applicants must be a NZ Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident.
