What will you do?

This is very much a hands-on roll, where you’ll have come from a solid infrastructure background and be able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in technically wherever required. You will have years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams at various levels. You are a natural problem solver and be articulate and passionate in everything you do.
This is an extremely rewarding opportunity, you will be reporting directly to the Director of ICT and be expected to take full reigns of your team (c.10 people) This will give you the opportunity to lead and guide in your style of working without being micromanaged, but still have the full support from your manager.
You have a natural ability to think fast and make the right decision in various situations. You always have an ear to the ground in terms of the latest technology trends and thrive on continues learning not just for your team, but also yourself. This is an ever evolving role where you will be constantly learning.
Your background:
5+ years of relevant IT leadership experience
Experience & ability to work in an extremely complex and agile environment
Broad Technical knowledge (in depth) with hands on capability to assist team
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems & WAN/LAN environments
Practical experience with- systems administration, network management, leading teams & projects.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Most importantly you will have a fantastic personality. You have the ability to deal with people from all backgrounds and at all levels. You will have a confidence to guide your team and be a respected, but also very approachable and empathetic when appropriate.
