Inventory Warehouse Supervisor Gate Gourmet is a leading global provider of airline catering and provisioning services and accredited by IATA as the safest airline catering in the world It is an exciting time to join the Gate Gourmet team as we continue to expand our partnerships with the worlds leading airline carriers embark on an exciting phase of growth and continue lead the inflight catering industry Working with our customers and business partners we create innovative offerings with excellence that delight the senses and make for a memorable dining experience in the air and on the ground Our employees have a real passion to perform with access to opportunities in challenging roles across the globe An exciting career opportunity has arisen at Gate Gourmet for an Inventory Warehouse Supervisor with our Warehouse Bond Store team located at Auckland International Airport Here at Gate Gourmet we take extreme pride in the work we do We have a unique service offering for our clients and work within the airline catering industry We are currently growing our business and growing our team to continue this success in to the future Position summary Reporting to the Warehouse Manager as the Supervisor for the Bond Store equipment you will be leading the Equipment staff and or any other staff members in Stores Equally you will be needed to be cross functional in Stores as your remit needs to be not just equipment but all stock in bound to the Department As the Supervisor you will possess experience managing all types of Warehouse functions Your key responsibilities include but not limited to Monitors and maintains current inventory levels processes purchasing orders as required tracks orders and investigates problems Records purchases maintains database performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computergenerated reports Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities Supports the Account Management team in all inventory related queries Monitors and manage the reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock Leads guides and trains staff student employees interns and or volunteers performing related work participate in the recruitment as appropriate to the area of operation Undertakes 5S audits daily patrols Conducts shift briefings Performs routine clerical duties including data entry answering telephones and assisting customers To be successful in this role we envisage you have Demonstrable Logistics and Warehouse Equipment Store experience preferably within a food and equipment handling and receiving handling environment Experience in supervising and effectively leading a Warehouse team Experience undertaking Stock takes in warehouse environments is essential High proficiency with numbers Fluent English communication skills both written verbal Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal external customers Flexibly in your work hours A commitment to service excellence Qualifications Technical Skills Required Certification Licenses Registration High School NCEA required A fork lift license is essential Experience on counter balance and reach Completed relevant Vocational training in Warehouse Logistics and Management preferred What Gate Gourmet will offer you At Gate Gourmet we believe every employee have the right to be invested with good leadership A fantastic employee benefits and career development opportunity along with some extremely generous staff incentives We pride ourselves in an empowering our employees and supporting them to be the best they can be Apply now by submitting your CV and Cover Letter Only applicants that have the right to work in New Zealand will be contacted
