Inventory Controller - Tumu Napier

Tumu Hawkes Bay is one of the largest building product suppliers on the East Coast of the North Island, including manufacturing our own Frames & Trusses. About the role: The purpose of the role is to ensure there is enough stock on hand to meet anticipated sales, while seeking out better buying opportunities to maximise returns. Also, to ensure inventory management best practices and accuracy, while identifying opportunities to either support growth for the business or improve profitability.
This is a full-time permanent role offering great working hours. Monday-Friday, flexible hours andwith one rostered Saturday every month, from 8-12pm. About you : Your flexible approach and excellent customer service skills will certainly come in handy in this busy role :
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Accuracy
- Team player
- Capable of working independently
- Relevant inventory experience
- Knowledge of building suppliers is a benefit but not a must
