The purpose of this role is to accurately manage the Inventory Control process from external goods receipt to regular cycle counting. The role will provide support to the Planning and Logistics Team and provide outstanding internal and external Customer Service. About the role Manage the Inventory Control process from time of receipt of raw material through to receipt of production finished goods. Daily transfer of completed stock from Production to Finished Goods Conduct regular scheduled stock takes as per company policy. Ensure stock variances are investigated and Inventory is adjusted to maintain accuracy, results reported back to Management, solutions put in place to reduce future variances. In conjunction with key stake holder's manage stock returns in a timely manner Provide support to Warehouse Team in times of absence or high workload. Shop Order entry for raw material requirements as requested by Planning and Logistics Manager Provide coverage for Planning and Logistics Manager across Purchasing and Production Scheduling as required Manage the Purchasing and stock levels of factory consumable items including safety equipment and PPE Provide coverage for Planning & Logistics Manager in times of absence. Other duties that may be assigned About you Demonstrated experience in Warehousing and Inventory Management (min 2 years) S&OP experience with forecasting and bias awareness would be an advantage Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Excel, word etc Effective communication at all levels High level of attention to detail and ability to work through stock variances Focus on Health and Safety Experience with ERP systems Forklift License would be advantageous We are committed to creating a workplace that values diversity and inclusivity.
