Job Description What you'll be doing As our Inventory Co-Ordinator, you will support the management of our inventory and consumables across all Meridian generation sites, predominantly in the Waitaki and Southland regions. You will review inventory usage and raise purchase orders for replacement as required, ensuring they are accurately managed using approved Meridian procedures. As part of this, you will work with the Inventory Specialists and wider Generation team to ensure sufficient stocks of service consumables are held at each site to support the Planned Service programmes. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing 'on the ground' procurement and financial information to support the management of our inventory. Other accountabilities include: Purchasing of parts from approved suppliers. Maintaining inventory to approved levels. Analysing and reporting on stock levels and consumption trends. Working with the Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Specialist and contribute to Quarterly and Annual Reviews of spare parts purchased and consumed by identifying trends and then recommending adjustments to Inventory levels across the Generation Sites. Unloading delivery vehicles as required. Receive materials into the Meridian Inventory management system. Manage stocktakes across all sites on a Quarterly basis or as directed by Supply Chain Manager. Some after hours and weekend delivery management. Please note - periodic overnight travel will also be required. What you'll bring We're looking for someone with previous experience of working in a similar role. A forklift license would be very beneficial, however is not essential. An intermediate level of Excel and Word skills, as well as excellent communication skills are essential, as this role interacts with multiple internal and external parties. We're looking for a good team player, and proactive self-starter, as this role is quite autonomous. Other key requirements include: Flexible and adaptable to change Achievement orientated Physically fit (requirement to unload and move inventory – up to 25kg) High levels of emotional intelligence – adaptable, resilient, and capable of self reflection.
