Our responsibility for this is guided by our Hokai Rangi strategy which seeks to build the rangatiratanga of each person through a supportive and humanising approach. If you have a desire to support our programmes and interventions, have strengths in administration and flexibility to meet the changing daily needs of our prison environment, we want to hear from you!Specifically, the Interventions Coordinator is responsible for:Planning and organising the implementation of prisoner courses, literacy/numeracy support and other programmes and interventionsMaintaining timetables for programmes and interventionsBuilding relationships with and supporting external service providers and contractors to ensure effective programme deliveryLiaising with internal tutors, facilitators, case managers and corrections officersEnsuring the allocation and effective utilisation of resourcesCompiling and maintaining registers, reports and statistics on programme participation in a timely mannerThe below key areas are where we are seeking you to demonstrate your skills:Strong communication skills both written and verbalThe ability to organise effectively, multi-task and meet deadlinesA high level of accuracy and attention to detailResilience in managing multiple stakeholders and the ability to adapt well to the ever-changing demands of the jobA pragmatic approach to problem solvingA high level of proficiency in computer software and database systems including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)In addition, you will be able to work effectively with a wide cross section of people from many different walks of life and be able to adapt your communication style to suit the audience appropriately while also being able to effectively build relationships.The starting salary for the role is $60,799 to $64,505.
