Nga korero mo te turanga – About the role As an experience Senior Manager you will have experience with people, financial and  operational management. You will be responsible for the effective, efficient operational management and supervision of the International Student Services Office functions. 
Using your effective leadership skills you will provide high level assistance and support to the Director Student Services & Pastoral Care. It is essential that you develop and sustain the levelof expertise and service necessary to support the delivery of the University's International Student Services portfolio, including compliance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021. As part of a management team, they will contribute to the development of marketing, recruitment, enrolment, support and internationalisation policies and processes.
Salary will be in the range of $93,452 to $103,303 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Proven experience in training, managing and motivating a teamExperience working with and understanding the sensitivities to tertiary students and staff from a variety of backgrounds and culturesPrevious experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reportingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsKo wai matou? – Who are we?  The Student Services Division provides high quality integrated services that foster engagement, promote wellbeing and support students in achieving their academic goals.  The work of the Division comprises of the following student services: pastoral care provision, international student support, health, counselling, accommodation, and the Tauranga campus student support services. 
The Director Student Services & Pastoral Care is responsible for the overall management of the Student Services Division, with assistance from a team of Associate Directors and Managers, including the International Student Services Manager.
