Details of the offer

The role

NorthTec invites applications for the role of Internal Academic Auditor. This is a permanent full time (37.5 hours per week) position based at the Raumanga Campus in Whangarei.

Reporting to the Manager-Risk, the primary objectives of this role are to complete internal academic (non-financial) audits as required across the organisation and produce review reports with the associated evidence register.

Significant experience of operating within the New Zealand Tertiary Education Sector in Risk/ Quality Assurance is desirable.
Education, Experience and Attributes:
Diploma level qualification in a related discipline Recent quality assurance experience in a service or education organisation Experience in using office technologies and online tools Experience working effectively with people across functions and organisational levels Willingness to greet and acknowledge people in te reo Maori and pronounce Maori words correctly Minimum knowledge of ahuatanga Maori and actively supports cultural activities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Strong digital literacy Meticulous attention to detail Be an analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
