A blend of office-based design work, site visits and construction monitoring.Accountabilities Complex residential and commercial engineering designsInitial Seismic Assessments independently, Detailed Seismic AssessmentsConstruction monitoringBridge, culvert and underpass inspections and load capacity assessmentsMostly working independently but knowing when to ask for advice and supportManaging project budgets and invoicingOther duties as directed by managementCompetencies Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering3-6 Years Experience, with at least 2 years' experience with New Zealand standards and codes.Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Microstran and other structural design softwareNZ Driver's LicenseExperience navigating local authorities would be highly advantageous.Culture fit is very important to this company, and they are looking for someone who will be an integral part of their team environment.
