Intermediate/Senior Php Developer

About the Company:
Our client is a small Fintech in a niche market that spans the globe. They compete directly against big names players from the US and Europe. Every time they win a deal, they disrupt the market a little. They are making a name for themselves as a reliable, "can-do" partner. About the Role:
The role's main purpose is to design, develop, test, deploy/implement and support secure, robust, quality products and solutions as our client's customers require. Each client has different rules and requirements, often leading to interesting customisations and development work. 
You'll work mostly with Linux, PHP, Perl, and Postgres sometimes with stuff outside of that. For example, they're either directly on the hardware, or on VMs, or providing the software as a service over AWS, but we may need to support Oracle and Azure in the future.
The solutions could range from simple one-off adjustments that suit a given country's environment, building a new feature for our system, or building an interconnect, for example, to the central bank. They don't keep strict hours, and working from home is fine. They have once-a-week catch-ups with the whole team in Wellington.
As a Senior, you are also expected to mentor team members and provide technical leadership.

Skills Required:
PHP and Symfony HTML/CSS/JS YAML, XML, UTF-8 git, ssh, yarn, composer linux, aws, perl Left to Right character sets and displays interface design skills Interface build skills Security skills This is not an exhaustive list, nor do you need every skill. We are just looking for someone who has a passion for building good, usable interfaces!

If you are someone who is passionate about developing high-quality software solutions, can build robust test cases for code being developed, has the ability to mentor and coach more junior members of your team and can work with the CTO in leading the overall architecture design for our client's products and systems, we would love to hear from you!
