Intermediate Roofer

At Architectural Envelopes we are a specialist roofing and cladding company working on some of the most stunning and challenging homes and commercial projects in the South Island.We are looking for intermediate level Sheetmetal Fabricators and installers who would like to further develop their abilities and take their skills to the next level  of craftsmanship.Key tasks and responsibilities include:Fabricating and installing European style metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous materialOrganising flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication for the site foremanPositionings parts and subassembliesOperating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machineEnsuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectfulConducting all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasksAttending staff meetings and training as requiredContributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventoryTravelling to the projects site, subject to H&S requirementsSupervising junior staff if requiredWhat's in it for you?A competitive pay rate -between $32 and $35 per hour depending on experience-40 guaranteed hours of work per week, divided into rostered shifts from Monday to Friday between 7.00am to 6.00 pm, our business hoursA full-time permanent position with growth potentialChallenging and varied projectsGreat work environment and culturePPE gear and uniformTool allowanceSee our website www.architecturalenvelopes.nz  If this looks like the kind of work you would would be interested in achieving contact us today!
