Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Auckland

Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) have an opportunity for a career an ambitious quantity surveyor to enhance their skills and develop their career.   An opportunity has arisen with a local Auckland contractor who need a quantity surveyor to join the project team. They require a junior/intermediate level surveyor who can come in and hit the ground running. You will have the drive and motivation to succeed and push the project along. You'll need to be comfortable running your part of the project on site, but you'll have the support of the senior surveyor if required.  To be part of this contractor, CTR are looking for a candidate with at least 3 - 5 years experience. Ideally this would be local knowledge, however if you have some solid new build experience from overseas, please forward your details.  What we are looking for in an applicant : Related construction/commercial qualification 3 years plus experience  New build or refurb project exposure ($3 million to $20 million) Knowledge of letting sub-contractor contracts Monthly reporting skills An ability to process claims and variations  Strong communication skills  You will be carrying out the normal duties of a project QS and you should be comfortable working under your own steam, although with a more senior surveyor on site, the support is available.  This is an excellent opportunity to develop your quantity surveying career and be part of a fantastic team.
