About the Role:
The focus of this role will be providing legal advice across a range of high-level corporate, commercial and property matters.
This role is full-time, but Morrison Mallett is flexible in the way they operate, and part-time candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on your areas of expertise and interests, your work could include:
corporate restructuring;
receiverships;
cross-border acquisitions;
disposals;
joint ventures and strategic alliances;
securities law;
shareholder arrangements;
commercial property and leasing; and
intellectual property projects.
Key Requirements:
4-8 years’ post-admission experience;
Corporate, commercial and/or mergers and acquisitions experience. However, the firm will also consider someone with a property background;
An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work;
A law degree with a current practising certificate (or eligible to obtain one); and
Committed to living and working in Wellington. However, it is important to note that Robert Walters are working on a similar position in Morrison Mallett’s Auckland office if that is of interest.
