Interior Design Showroom Consultant

McKenzie and Willis is a leading South Island Interiors chain selling high quality home furnishings. We require a new consultant with a passion for Interior Design to be based in our Christchurch showroom.
Reporting to the Design Services Manager, the successful applicant will be capable and committed to providing excellent customer service and growing our brand.
Experience in this industry is not a requirement as training can be provided to the right applicant although an Interior Design qualification would be preferred.
Working from Tuesday through to Saturday, this is an entry level role and would suit someone looking to return to the workforce or an Interior Design graduate.
You will be based in our Christchurch showroom working with customers in store but there is a pathway to become a full time Interior Designer working as part of the McKenzie and Willis in home service team.
Requirements:
· Proven Ability to build successful working relationships
· Self-Motivated and driven to achieve sales
· Ability with measurements and numbers
· Professionally presented and articulate
· Passion for fabrics, colours and design
· Sales and target driven
