This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it… Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The Intelligence Analyst provides intelligence reports which outline planning activities and strategies which ensure the utilisation and analysis of intelligence data from the health and disability systems is used to inform the emergency management function to support decision making, planning and response efforts.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience Experience in an intelligence analysis role or similar (in the range of 2+ years). Has sound technical writing / documentation skills, and a background in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice to inform decision making. Experience producing strategic, and operational intelligence products within a government agency to inform decision making. Experience successfully working in high pressure, high trust environments, where high-quality outputs are required regularly within a short timeframe. Demonstrates an organised and disciplined approach to tasks showing the background materials that led them to the conclusions. Advanced experience in using analytical tools such as Base SAS®, SAS® Enterprise Guide, and MS Excel, MS Word.
