Industrial Spray Painter

Job Location/Region: Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu- Whanganui, Marlborough, Nelson, Northland, Otago, Southland, Taranaki, Tasman, Waikato, Wellington, West Coast. Number of Positions Available: 7 Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Hourly rate or salary band: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour Days required and Hours of Work The usual days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7am till 5pm. These hours  may slightly change depending on workload.  Some Saturday work will be required. You are guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 60 hours per week. Key Objectives and Duties Grinding, sanding and cleaning surfaces of items to be painted Using conventional, gravity and airless spray guns Spraying to spec Cleaning of spray guns and other equipment Doing abrasive blasting using different medias Recording paint thickness for record keeping  Competencies or Pre-requisites At least 3 years of work experience in an industrial spray painting role is required Closing Please submit your application as soon as possible, preferably within 14 days from the start date of this advertisement.
