Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system.This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it… Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity The IR Specialist role is a key member of the Industrial Workplace Relations and Remuneration (IWRR) function, as a trusted advisor to internal colleagues across the Te Manawa Taki region on IR matters.They will also be responsible for shaping, undertaking, and resolving bargaining for Collective Agreements within agreed parameters which reflect Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora strategy and government expectations.This position also contributes to the employment relations policy workstream, ensuring development of innovative policy and relevant consultation is undertaken with all relevant stakeholders to enable implementation.Furthermore, this position facilitates effective resolution of industrial related conflicts through effective problem-solving approaches, fostering positive working relationships and minimising disruptions.The IWRR function manages the national employment relations environment for Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, including the national employment relations strategy, bargaining of multiple collective agreements, interpretation of collective agreements and related policy.This role requires the successful candidate to be based in Te Manawa Taki region -
