Industrial Designer - Retail

We are committed to the quality and cost of our client's successful campaigns and we are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer with retail design experience to join our energetic team.
About you:
We have an opportunity for a confident and experienced industrial designer who thrives on finding the best retail design solutions for our existing and growing client base.
You will be a creative, yet a pragmatic designer, with experience in retail activations, point of sale promotions and have a full understanding of the design process from client briefs, identifying and suggesting key activation requirements, researching, generating and developing ideas through renderings or illustrations, as well as presenting concepts.
The key to success in this role will be your passion for brands and innovation, along with a can-do attitude.
You will need to possess the following:
Strong knowledge Point Of Purchase supply chain & manufacturing techniques
Conceptual/ Graphic design skills
Ability to generate design presentations, final artwork, illustrations and knifelines for promotional displays and shippers
An ability to produce detailed 3D concepts and rendering with a focus on advanced surfacing for prototype designs through to manufacture
You will be organized with exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and manage deadlines
Ability to work on time-sensitive projects with a fast turnaround under pressure to deliver where other agencies cannot
A self-motivated, personable and easy-going team player who is prepared to step up and go the extra mile when needed
Knowledge in freight management or a keen willingness to learn and be accountable for all aspects of the company's domestic and international freight shipments

Requirements:
Degree Qualified Graphic or Industrial
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Retail Point Of Purchase design, including self-erecting pop up displays
Create prototypes using our in-house digital printing and Aoki cutting equipment
Skilled in software: Engview, Solidworks, Cinema 4D, Rhinoceros
Travel: Daily travel to our head office in North Strathfield, is required
Valid driver's license
