About the role Reporting to the Head of Industrial Design , you will: Be part of a team that is instrumental in the delivery of a customer insight led product development vision . H ave the opportunity to work on a range of current and future products . B e responsible for achieving projects within a team of Industrial Designers , a key part of this achievement will involve collaborating across our team of product development engineers and being the voice of design and brand for our product design decisions . This is where you come in… You'll have e xperience working within a Product Development environment . Be able to demonstrate aesthetic maturity, are self-driven and able to work to tight schedules . Have s ound understanding of mechanics, kinematics, manufacturing processes and materials . Be confident at communicating both visually and verbally . Experience working collaboratively with other specialists to develop new designs , working with both new and existing manufacturing processes . Some experience in model-making and prototyping, creating quick prototypes to prove concepts, as well as more refined visual models is highly desirable . Proficiency using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, parametric CAD modelling such as PTC Creo and rendering packages such as Key-shot (or similar) . A degree in a relevant field such as I ndustrial D esign or P roduct D esign is essential .
